Bible Conference Requirements

God instructs us:
"But thou, O man of God, follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness be thou an "example of the believers," in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit. Meditate upon these things, give thyself wholly to them."

With these principles in mind, we ask for your support.

Personal Conduct

Attendance - Attendance at all classes is required and punctuality is expected. Unbaptized teenagers must attend the classes designed for them.

Dress -  Attire is to be modest and consistent with an image of one who profess and encourage Godliness. Males: For all meetings: footwear, shirt and pants (no jeans or shorts). During the Memorial Meeting we expect Brethren and young adults to wear a tie. Females: For all meetings: footwear, dresses or blouse and skirt. Sisters must wear head covering.

Smoking, Alcoholic Beverages, Drugs - Our purpose is to shut out the world by providing a secluded environment to meditate on the things of the Truth. The possession of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and nonmedical drugs violate this purpose.

Basis of Meeting

The Breaking of Bread will be held on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and all who accept without reservation the "faith once delivered to the saints" as epitomised for example in the Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith, are invited to participate.

Controversial Matters

The objective of the Bible School precludes the entering into controversy on fundamental issues. This is no way intended to limit discussion on the Scriptures and topics related thereto. It does mean, however, that the advocating of any fundamental teaching which is known not to be in harmony with the teachings of the historic Christadelphian faith is not to take place at the Bible School, and no organized meetings are to be arranged for any reason without prior consent of the Bible Conference Committee.

Children

Parents and guardians must assume responsibility for children at all times.

Please Remember

Stewards are requested to keep doors closed during readings, prayers and hymns.

Please bring your hymn books. Hymns will be chosen from the
2002 Hymn Book.
